ZMA Data Acquisition Joins Zephyr Project Portfolio!
We're thrilled to share some exciting news: Our ZMA Data Acquisition product has been accepted into the Zephyr Project's official portfolio! This is particularly special for us as it marks the first product from Turkey to be featured in this prestigious list.
What is Zephyr Project?
Zephyr is an open-source real-time operating system (RTOS) developed under the Linux Foundation. It's used across a wide range of applications, from microcontrollers to IoT devices, embedded systems to industrial automation products. World-leading brands like Framework Laptop, Google Chromebook, and Vestas wind turbines run on Zephyr.
ZMA's Journey with Zephyr
When developing ZMA Data Acquisition, we were searching for a reliable, scalable platform that meets industrial standards. Zephyr RTOS provided us with the flexibility and robustness we needed:
- Easy dependency management with West Workspace system
- Seamless hardware integration with custom board support (zma_v1 and zma_v2)
- Secure firmware updates via MCUboot
- Efficient peripheral usage (GPIO, ADC, SPI, UART) through modular driver architecture
Why This Matters
The Zephyr Project portfolio isn't just a list; it's the go-to reference for the global embedded systems community. Being listed alongside giants like Google, Vestas, and Framework demonstrates ZMA's technical quality and compliance with global standards.
Being the first product from Turkey proves once again how valuable Turkish engineering talent is on international platforms.
